With the mailfino SMTP server, you can seamlessly integrate the mailfino server as an outgoing email account in programs such as Microsoft Outlook, the mail merge function of Microsoft Word, the cobra mail merge or any other mailing tool. This gives you the flexibility to send your mass emails directly from your familiar working environment.
To use the mailfino SMTP server for mass mailings, simply create a regular mailfino user account specifically for sending newsletters. If you already have a mailfino account, you can continue to use it without any problems and do not need to register again.
Sending modes of the mailfino SMTP server for mass mailings
The mailfino SMTP Server supports two different modes that offer you maximum flexibility when sending your mass mails:
- Single send mode
In this mode, your software generates a separate email for each recipient, which is sent individually to the mailfino SMTP server. This enables detailed tracking of each individual email. In the dispatch report, the software summarizes all emails sent in one day with the same sender and subject so that you have a comprehensive overview of your mailings. - BCC mode
Here, the list of all recipient addresses is transferred as a BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) and sent to the mailfino SMTP server. mailfino uses this to create a regular mailing by generating and sending an individual email for each recipient address. This mode is particularly useful if you want to reach a large number of recipients with a single email.
