Sending newsletters to WooCommerce customers
Would you like to send a newsletter to all customers from your WooCommerce store?
mailfino can import data directly from your WooCommerce store. This way you can easily send newsletters to all your customers. It is not necessary to install a plug-in.
These are the necessary steps for connecting to WooCommerce version 4:
1) In order for mailfino to connect to your store, you need to generate an API key in WooCommerce. To do this, log in to your WooCommerce store and open the WooCommerce settings.
2. open the tab Extended
3. click on the link REST API
4. click on the button Add key
5. give as description mailfino (so that you know that the key is for mailfino).
Choose one Usersto which this API key is assigned - this is usually yourself.
Select under Authorizations Read as shown in the screenshot on the right.
Now click on Create API key.
6 The API key has been created. WooCommerce now shows you two values:
The Consumer key (Consumer Key) and the Consumer secret (Consumer Secret).
Leave the WooCommerce page open and go back to mailfino.
7. mailfino is probably still open and you see the window on the right-hand side.
If not:
Log in to your mailfino account, open the tab Lists and select Interfaces -> WooCommerce in the menu bar. Enter the url of the website where your store is located, e.g. https://www.meinshop.de.
Copy nowr Consumer key and Consumer secret from step 6 into the corresponding fields and click on Next >
8. mailfino will now try to validate the connection and connect to your WooCommerce store. This will take a moment.
You can then select which data should be imported:
- Registered customers - These are all customers who have created a customer account. If you have allowed guest orders in WooCommerce, these customers are not included.
- Customer data from orders - All customer data is extracted from the orders, whereby each e-mail address is only imported once.
Click on Next >to start the import.
9. ready!
Now the import is complete and you can send your newsletter to WooCommerce customers.
You can find the imported data under recipient lists.
