mailfino to host yourself

With mailfino OnPremise you host your own mailfino on your own server.

This gives you full control over the system and all data is stored in-house. This is particularly important in environments with increased data protection requirements.

You can also send as many e-mails as you like.

Because mailfino is based on Docker, installation is completed within half an hour.

Questions and answers

Does 4OfficeAutomation have access to our mailfino server?

No, nobody has access to your server except you.

How is mailfino 'On Premise' kept up to date?

The mailfino Docker Installer comes with a container that constantly monitors the version of mailfino and installs an update if necessary.

We send e-mails centrally. Do we have to use the mail transfer agent from mailfino to send e-mails, or can we specify our own server for this?

The mailfino MTA can also send e-mails via a relay server provided by you.

Is mailfino running on a Windows server?

mailfino has not been tested on a Windows server. We recommend the use of Ubuntu.

Do I have to guarantee access to port 80/443 from outside?

Yes, in order for images to be displayed and forms to work, the mailfino app must be controllable from outside via port 80/443.

Are emails that are sent via mailfino 'On Premise' also CSA-certified?

The CSA certification refers to the dispatch of servers over which 4OfficeAutomation GmbH has control. This is not the case with a server provided by you, which is why you must take care of your own CSA certification if required.

Is it possible to run mailfino 'On Premise' on a server provided by you?

Yes, we are happy to offer you hosting for mailfino 'On Premise'. E-mails can also be sent certified on a server provided by us.
