A current Internet browser should be installed (at least Internet Explorer 8) with support for Java Script and ideally also HTML 5.
Can I add a form to my newsletter?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to insert forms into emails, as many popular email programs such as Microsoft Outlook or iOS do not display such forms.
If you want to send a form, for example for a survey, to your recipients, it is better to link to a form on an external website.
What is an alternative text and why do I need it?
Despite the widespread use of HTML-enabled e-mail programs, there are still many people who cannot or do not want to display HTML e-mails. Many Blackberrys, for example, do not support HTML. For these users, you can define an alternative text that is always displayed if a device cannot display HTML.
The alternative text always consists only of text without any formatting; no fonts, tables or images are displayed.
By the way: the preview function of many e-mail programs such as Microsoft Outlook also uses the alternative text to display the first three lines of an e-mail.
